an OVQJ U-School includes the elementary set, too, where youngsters learn the 3 R's plus extras like music, art, and simple foreign language courses. The elementary school tries to present a well-rounded program for each child, and to provide him with a good background for his high school work of the future. Parties and convocations spice the life of the elementary student, as well as combined class activities such as songfests and dancing groups. From arithmetic to art, from spelling to Spanish, from singing to science, and from reading to recreation, the young Univees build knowledge to carry them through the early years to the final six grades. A group of young scholars apply themselves to the task at hand. Along with the three R's, Second graders begin early to learn good study habits.
