Barbara fuerst The staff of the '55 jordannus would like to express their appreciation to the Journal- ism Club for its help in taking and develop- ing pictures for the yearbook. Under the sponsorship of John Schrodt, the publications adviser, the club has learned to operate the camera. They also took a held trip. Their officers are Barbara Reading Club Making colorful display windows and preparing Christmas baskets for needy families were the main proj- ects of the Reading Club this year. The members helped process the new books in the library and at- tended the Hoosier Student Librar- ian's Association on the Indiana University campus. They have read quite extensively and visited various large libraries, including the Indiana University Library and the Louis- ville Public Library in Louisville, Kentucky. To pro- mote further interest in the teach- ing profession. the members have spent much of their time discussing good teacher traits with their sponsor. Those students in the upper one-third of the junior and Senior classes are eligible for membership. The faculty committee which chooses these members must not allow the number to exceed twenty per cent of the Senior class or five per cent of the junior class. The Society is sponsored by K. B.
