Berry. litlwhle XX alden Representing the student hody of L'niversity School is the Student Council. The purpose of the Council is to give its members experience in democratic living. It does not seek to control or direct the schoolg rather it is intended as an instrument of expression for the student body. The councills higgest project is the support of lfdda Pinka, foster child lrom Czechoslovakia. Sponsored hy Miss Nlartha jane Risser, the council's otlicers for this year were Arthur lell, President: lred .'Xndreu's, Vice President: Carol Cason. Secretary and lane Hicks. Treasurer. Closely related to the Student Council is the Policy Council. This council was formed to discuss problems of teachers and students and to make recommendations to the principal and Student Council for improvements in the school.
