Students return to U-School after an enjoyable Christmas vacation. ANUARY As school reconvened at the beginning of a new year, halls and classrooms were again flooded with students and activity. It was fun to greet teachers and friends who were not seen over the holidays. Memories of the New Year's tourney and Christmas vacation were fresh in the minds of the students as they once again got back into the swing of their studies. Before long, not only a new year had started but also .1 new semester as well-the old one having ended with those much- dreaded final exams. However, students were given a few days at the end of the exam week to recuperate, while teachers made out grades. Oh Happy Day! or Blue Monday! was January 7, when students returned to the familiar halls and received their report cards. Off to a new start with a new semes- ter ahead of them, students looked forward to the opportunities and activities that lay in the future. Yes, a new start was made as the old year went out and the new year Came in. Struggling over those books near exam week are ,Ion Rickert. Barbara Hopf, and Warren Richardson. Page :fight
