Each ot the members, in charge ot one department of the school, is assisted in his duties by a board composed of volunteer members. Tenth Grade Council Sponsored by Miss lvlarie lVlcCatferty, the representatives from the tenth grade English classes meet to discuss and evaluate new policies, traditions and problems of the school. Besides assisting the Student Council and leadership class, the Tenth Grade Council is sponsoring a clean-up campaign tor the betterment ot campus activities. 11-'-ti 'A- ' More active than usual this year, the Boys' and Girls' Leagues have sent Unihi spirit to a new high. Those responsible for this year's well-rounded program were Betty Webb and Marcia Laughlin, Girls' League presidents, with Mrs. Pelzel as sponsor, and jerry lVleaser and Bob Brunner un- der the leadership of lVlr. I-lawkins. Together these Leagues offered many activi- ties in which the entire school participated: the Doll contest, Girls' and Boys, Week, Howdy Day, the Sock I-lop, the contest for Football Queen, the Victory Ball, the printing of programs, the Boosters' Club, and also many fine assemblies.
