weak in reserves, 'Fell 'ro all opponen+s save Fairfax. S+ar players Ihroughoul' Ihe season included Cap-
I'ain Max Madrid, Jim Mora, John Milsuchi, Glen Harman, Bob Carillo, Ben Nakamura, Joe Iwanaga,
and Dave McGra'Ih.
Jim Mora led 'rhe I'eam 'Io i+s lone viciory, Ihe season opener. Affer a scoreless firs+ half, 'rhe pin'I-
sized Colonials scored 7 poinI's in fhe Ihird period. Then Mora scooied in an end-around play 'For six
poinls, and 'rhe Papooses evened Ihe counl' as John Milsuchi passed +o Bob Carillo for Ihe eixi' r a
poin'I'. Wi+h +he score knoH'ed and only seven minules 'ro go, Mora again ran +he same end play 'for

and cold as fhe season progressed. As fhe league opened, Uni suffered fhe loss of Tip Foreman, key
guard in fhe Braves' affack. Falling info a slump in fhe nexf few games, fhe Warriors didn'f revive
unfil an unknown forward named Del Quackenbush broke info fhe lineup. His accurafe foul shoofing
and high scoring made up for fhe previous loss.
Biggesf highlighf of fhe year came in fhe second Hollywood game. Uni wenf on- a scoring spree
fo ring up 70 poinfs, a new high for 'any Uni Bee feam.
Rudy He-redia, who sank 27 poinfs againsf Nofre Dame for a new record, was moved up fo var-
sify af fhe end of fhe season because of his oufsfan-ding play.
Al Schweifzer, Phil Mauldin, Dan Porfer, Bill Jennings, Mike Perroff, Frank lge, and Al Lenz also
