Caritas 1969 honors a CGF faculty member whose dedication to the college, to the students, and to his Work is of inspirational proportion. Frances W. DiRocco, who started his teaching career at the College of Great Falls in 1941 as an instructor in chemistry, is currently serving as Chairman of the Department of Natural Science and Mathematics. The Science Student Association was the result of his personal enthusiasm to provide for the needs of dedicated students. The faculty, too, are well aware of Mr. DiRocco's concern for the College, and in 1967 elected him to serve as chairman of the Faculty Status Committee, a post he currently holds. Although his interests center around science, they extend to advising the men's service fraternity, Working as a member of the Academic Policy Committee, being a trustee of the Great Falls Knights of Columbus, and speeking to local groups and meetings.
