The Hoard consists of one member from each Congressional District of the State, four from the State at large, and two from the city of Athens. The Governor and the Chairman of the Hoard of Directors of the School of Technology, the Georgia Normal and Industrial College, and the Colored Industrial College arc ex-officio members of the Hoard. The immediate control and management of each of the departments of the University situated elsewhere than at Athens is entrusted I subject to general control by the I niversity Trustees) to a ’'Local Hoard or ’’Commission.’' the number of members, mode of appointment and terms of office of which vary. The (.'niversity Trustees meet in stated annual session on the Thursday preceding the Commencement Sunday, and at other times at their pleasure.
