Mother Knight still housemother making a home out of the fraternity house .... Editor Bould finally gets his F book off the press only two weeks late. . . October came in with o bong, o near riot with the Betos . . . the friendly relation continues through the year .... Torn Borr GIG-CTSCI President of the Pledge class, Bob Reif Vice President. The Auburn football game brought the first dates to Boys Town and a wonderful time was had by all since -everybody ended up with someone elses date .... Homecoming o big success??? Two alumni back but the house was full of female loveliness .,.. Then came the Georgia-Florida week-end with all the good brothers in Jacksonville making merry ot their dance in the Mayflower Hotel ond singing to hell with Georgia as they pick each other up from the floor. Chandler ends Chapter meeting with a rip shorter as Sheriff Campbell tries vainly to get on o committee .... PAUL THOMAS Giffin inaugurates a policy of speak softly and carry o big stick as he helps his date into her shoes .... Windy leads his parachute battalion through the house after hell week . . . and Tcrnwali spends all his time telling Joe Vara to study. ...Vara won!!! The l4th Annual Christmas Formal was held on schedule and in the traditional manner . . . afterwards the boys and girls let their hair down and got Hoy to the Joy with a 3- piece colored bond .... Semester exams arrive 3 months early but Palmer holds up the fraternity average as usual .... Shuman holds Harry Lee's fraternity pin as security for a 25c debt .,.. Poulos gets rich from the laundry business and the treasury ,... Air Corps calls reserves and Brumlik, Council, Biggers, Stroud, Reif, and Boyce get 6 weeks vocation in Miami Beach at government expense. Tornwall elected proxy in March and Wenzel finally retires to think only of Georgia peaches . . . Military Ball, the lost round up, brings Tommy Reynolds Band .... Phi Tous move cut' ot their house and live with Pikes while the girls enjoy life on Masonic Street. The year ends in uncertainty with every Phi Tau looking forward to the first Home- coming after the war. Editor's Note: Just as we go to press, Master Beta Bryant finally bounces the bottle off the Phi Tau house which broke the camel's back .,,, Phi Tous moss for action and storm the Beta house but find they are not in o fighting mood. , . o visitor bears the blunt of Phi Tau rage as he takes o beating from Poulos . . , a good time was had by all except the Betos.
