National recognition ot more than a tevv sorts, has come to many ot them. Several are outstanding in and out ol their curricular tields throughout the state arid are acclaimed as leaders. A Some are big tish in small ponds, a tevv are big tish in big ponds. All have degrees tacked atter their names like so many New Deal Agencies, Chosen as college heads tor superior work in their tields, these men sutter no student derision in regard to their pro tessional ability, just a little as to their respective persons. Generally acclaimed by their students, these are the men the Alumni come back to see. As a group, l3VOQressive, up-to-date, and open-minded to change, Eloridafs Deans have helped to make Florida the Cradle ot liberal education and higher education she is today. D. R.
