llllltlllll lllllllllf The General College tries to teach freshmen and sophomores o lol of lxnowledge about everything although many get their Associate of Arts degrees having learned a lot of knowledge about nothing Qrganized in six brood! comprehensive courses, the Ceneral College dominates the first year student completely as the un- Lnowing freshman is crammed with Cs from l to le ranging from o study of man's relationships with other men to o two year study of mathematics crowded into one semester, In the second year, the GC student is the target for the humanities and bio- logical studies, but has time to take courses in other departments Students are graded only according to their final examination which is graded by a machine, affectionately called Elunl4en- stein Sold machine is impervious to all attempts at browning and has never been known to trade an A for o guart of oil In- stead of striving for perfection! GC students try only to score more than their fellows since grades are given on a competitive CLIVVG Dean Winston W, Little is the stern guardian of the young minds still in the formative stage, and many o senior relates sorrow- fully his experience in trying to put something over on him DEAN WllNlSTGlXl VV LlTTLE A S, ,ff ,N 'Q 1 f 0 M .L pgs . , VW , M ki ,f I ,, X45 WS? w L1 girl F - 4' gy.. .,. ,,,5gr,A, ,g ,Wy , ,.
