Courses in Bus Ad are ditticult lask any senior taking cost accounting or advanced economic theoryl but students leave the college vvell grounded in the principles and ethics ot the busi- ness vvorld, and most ot them step into positions soon atter re- ceiving their degrees Une might think that Bus Ad is the red-headed step-child ot the University, so neglected has it been when the buildings were handed aut, Courses are taught in practically every building on the campus, and 'tis rumored that one member ot the Business Administration taculty has his ottice out near the drill tield, No man ever graduates from the College ot Business Admin- istration vvithout teeling chagrined every time he buys one ot Mr, Rocketeller's products or smokes one ot Doris Duke's cigarettes, Dean 'Walter Ji lvlatherly is rated as one ot the best speakers in the state, and often steps out ot his educational robes to carry good will to men's luncheons and women's clubs, He is best knovvn on the campus, however, tor alvvays wearing a tie and brightly DEAN WALTER J. lvlATl'lERLY ' ffl shined shoes! as vvell as tor his annual address to the freshman class.
