CHARLES PINCKNEY SIMMONS, our fellow-student, there was lost to us a noble youth, who just at the gate of manhood's estate, had already won for himself a name, enviable in its integrity. His sunny smile and cheerful disposition, endeared him to the hearts of all with whom he was associated and his good deeds and worthy ambitions. best express the enthusiasm and determination with which he faced the daily tasks of life.
