r wr 'M 'ww X ' The Story of Development at Findlay What is Findlay College? It is a four-year liberal arts college located in northwestern Ohio. Seniors graduating this year will seem overly old because in their freshman year Old Main symbolized Findlay College. During four years of self-development, the seniors also witnessed the college's growth by the completion of Lillian Lovett Residence Hall for W'omen, the Alumni Memorial Union, and the William B. Brewer Science Hall. By the time of their graduation, four new buildings are scheduled to be under construction: a Fine arts building, a men's dormitory, a women's dormitory, and an extension of the student union building. Even with this increasing development program, a majority of the 866 students will tell you the full acceptance by the North Central Association of Colleges and 1 Secondary Schools was the climax in 1962. Accreditation means student quality and enrollment will be greatly influenced and that unlimited opportunities will be afforded upon graduation. Still Old Main stands fast, preserving memories of past years, good years, big years, and promises of more to come. It's ours! With the MARCUS we attempt to make it yours. Kenneth R.
