Student Publications P.O.Box 329 EvansvUle, Indiana 47701 ' Located in the Union Building ' THE LINC Yearbook (812)479-2850 TO: The Student Body FROM: The 1975 LinC Staff RE: LinC Dedication There always seems to be one person, either faculty member or adminis- trator, who goes out of their way to do as much as possible to help students alleviate some of the problems associated with college life. This year, as in every year since May 1964, one lady has put this task above all others. A part of the Union since her arrival on campus, this lady is never too busy to great visitors to the Union with a friendly smile and a cheerful hi . In an interview appearing in the September 21, 1964 issue of the Crescent, she expressed a desire to make the Union a Home away from Home to the stu- dents; A place where a student could be treated as individuals. She encouraged student participation. To this end, she was instrumental in acquiring office space for various student organizations such as the Student Association, Student Publications, Interfraternity, and Panhellenic Council. In recognition of her years of service to the student body, the 1975 LinC Staff hereby dedicates this edition of the UE LinC to: LOUISE M. LAND DIRECTOR OF STUDENT UNION
