Executive Committee President Gaylord M. Couchman is chair- man of the Executive Committee, which is appointed by the University Board of Directors to function in the interim between Board meet- ings. Since the Board of Directors meets only twice a year -- once in the fall and once in the spring before Commencement - the Executive Committee is delegated to study school situations and to make rulings concern- ing problems that would otherwise be delayed until a meeting of the Executive Board. Each month, therefore, the Executive Com- mittee meets to examine administrative policies to see that they follow the University aims and objectives. This important group also reviews the monthly financial report of the University. Seated: Mr. David B. Cassat, Mr. A. D. Donnell, Dr. Gaylord M. Couchman. Standing, Rev. Harry A. Turner, Dr. Paul J. Laubc. Dr. William B. Zukcr, Rev. William Tjadcn. Mr. Robert Loetscher. Mr. Robert W. Clewell. 18
