Faculty One of the most picturesque spots on campus is the quiet patio located within the faculty building just a few yards from bustling AlcNichols Road. Four hundred years of teaching experience is the heritage the Fathers of the Society of Jesus bring to the University of Detroit. Through the years this heritage has been built by the Society ' s unswerving devotion to lead the battle for Christ wherever the odds are most severe. Our University and its brother organizations in the United States are the product of this devotion. Their growth, nourished by lay leaders of Catholic Action as well as by the Jesuits, is living evidence of the zeal with which the battle is being waged. Page n
