From 1913 to 1915 he was Instructor in Modern Languages, Whitesville High School, New York, and from 1915 to 1916 In- structor of Modern Languages at Mackensie School. He did graduate work at Columbia University, 1916- 1917, and at the University of Grenoble, France, in 1919. In 1919 he came to Delaware College as Assistant Professor of Modern Languages.
