Educated at Massachusetts Agricultural College, Yale University, and Columbia University, receiving his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry at Yale. Belongs to Fellow American Association for Advancement of Science, member American Chemical Society, American Institute of Chemists, etc. Author of a number of scientific papers. Came to Storrs January 1, 1909. Doc is one of the truly Old Guard at Storrs and one ofthe landmarks that all alumni look up on returning to Storrs.
