The University, despite its enrollment up- ward of 9,000 students, is a casual, friendly institution. The homes of several hundred faculty members and administrators are open to students, in evidence of Colorado ' s hospitality. Dean of Students Clifford Hous- ton and Mrs. Houston are but two of the many participants in the open-door pro- gram, designed to make students feel at home for the length of their stay in Boulder.
