Hitchhikers saw the dawn of a new day . . . Eldorado Springs saw an increase in business while the Dark Horse remained one . . . President Stearns joined the Army and went overseas and Dr. Gus admirably took over . . . the Waves were brought in by the tide and were eyed with speculation concerning women ' s ability with oriental languages . . . the letting of blood was instituted by the Blood Bank and man ' s fortitude proved less than that of the weaker sex.
