bil' added It was Shakespeare who said 'Tis the mind that makes the body rich. just so in our classrooms at University City High School, each new period of the day brings to our minds treasures of wisdom which man has painstakingly assembled through the centuries. Through vocations, mathematics, and sciences, through language, arts, and histories we are being equipped to take our place in the community. It is by the acquisition of knowledge that we shall be able to preserve our way of life, for democracy can exist only in an educated socif ety. In the classroom consideration and regard for others is a requisite. Prejudices and castes are laid asideg respect is won only through worth and ability.
