SUPERINTENDENTS MESSAGE To the Editor of THE DIAL! l am very glad to accept your kind invitation to extend a word of greeting to the 1937-38 student body of our Senior High School. We are all very fortunate in having our educa- tional lot cast in a community that is willing to support its public education program in the man- ner that University City has supported our sys- tem. During the last decade, in spite of the period of depression, we have been able to offer to the boys and girls of this community rare opportu- nities for elementary and secondary education. These opportunities have been made possible by a generous and progressive community that has been willing and anxious to provide the best in skillful teachers and adequate building facilities. ln representing the administrative department of the system, it is my pleasure to congratulate you upon the opportunities that have been yours and the fine use the student body has made oi' the same.
