FGREWGRD hey Walked hand-in-hand as the cool breeze reminded them of the pending season. Their pace quickened as the leaves fell from sur- rounding trees. It would be winter soon, the fourth one they had experienced together. They came from two separate Worlds, he from the North, she from the South. But they had met here with common dreams for the future. How they met seemed insignificant now. They reminisced about Watching a hundred perfect sunsets from their place, and holding each other close. Then there was the big game. They yelled and cheered, but it was just the atmosphere, not the game itself, that had fired their enthusiasm. They remembered snowfights, quite times and the day his car ran out of gas. Those were good times. The years had gone quickly for them. Soon, it would all be over. They would have to make a momentous decision. Perhaps they should part, treasuring all they had shared. Maybe they would decide to live the rest of their lives together. Light rain began to fall, forcing them to move fas- ter. He softly tugged her hand, seeking shelter.
