ueen for '73 announced at pre- ame football rally Un the evening of Qctoher 12, 1973, Charlene Lockard was an- nounced 1973 Homecoming Queen at the pre-game pep rally on thc south lawn ofthe University Union. During half time at the Cfcntral Missouri State-Southwest Missouri State football game, Nlr. Warren E. Strate, President of the Central Missouri State lfnivcrsity Alumni Association, had the honor of crowning Charlene the 1973 Queen. Charlene is a junior elementary education major from Brunswick, Missouri, and was sponsored hy Nickerson Hall. Gail Woodruff, a junior special education major from Kansas City, and Rita Ming, a senior office ad- ministration and industrial relations major from Clinton, were voted Princesses. Gail was sponsored by Delta Zeta sorority of which shc is a member. Rita was sponsored by Alpha Omieron Pi sorority and is a member of that organization.
