We had the Homecoming I Blahs on October 18, 1969 Saturday morning, October 18, 1969, found CMS Mule fans suffering from the blahs. Their despondcney was due to the pouring rain that replaced a much hoped for sunny day. Loyal fans and parade spectators protected them- selves against the torrential rain with umbrellas, large plastic bags, and other unusual rain gear. The Mule football squad found no protection against the blahs as the Rolla Miners put us down to defeat 24-0 on a slippery rainsoaked field. 21
