Beauties brighten Homecoming activities throughout rain da Half-time ceremonies brought lmeauty and lmrightness to the Home- coming festivities as Miss Karon Cilnerson was crowned 1969 Homecoming Queen. Sponsored lay Sigma Sigma Sigma, Miss Ci- herson is a senior speech major from Urlmana, Missouri. Miss Gilmer- son was crowned during the Mules-Miners battle hy President VVarren C. Lovinger as the student lmody cheered and returned a part of the warmth of personality that characterizes the 1969 Homecoming Queen. Miss Ciherson was attended hy her court, the First and Second Princesses. Miss janet Eggers, a junior elementa- ry education major, reigned as First Princess and Miss Karen Brog- lio, a senior mathematics major, reigned as Second Princess. The selection of Homecoming royalty is made by the vote ofthe student hodv.
