iT'- -1 CMS theatre presents comedy, RHINOCEROS by Eugene Ionesco directed by Dr. Glenn Q.. Pierce produced by Dr. James L. Highlander Rhinocero , a three-act play by Eugene Ionesco, is a' savage commentary on the absurdity of the human condition made tolerable by self delusion. A small town one normal Sunday morning is sud- denly besieged by a roaring' rhinoceros. Very shortly more citizens appear as rhinoceroses until the movement becomes universal. The trampling becomes louder and more powerful until Berenger remains alone, unable to change his form, his in- tegrity, and identity. The satirical humor and pro- vocative theme combine the sublime with the ridiculous. We could go for walks in the park . . . and to the zoo. Waitress ..... Grocer's Wife . . Housewife ....
