Famous people visit CM campus throughout '66-96 Throughout the year international figures and entertainers have added memorable highlights to the CMS schedule. To help bring the news fronts of the world to CMS. as well as en- lighten students on current world affairs. such speakers as Moham- mad T. Mehdi ol' Iraq. Farham Shubeilat of Jordon. Avahan Har- mon of Isral. Ibraham El-Ahdab of Lebanon. and Maxwell Taylor addressed campus organizations. General Maxwell Taylor. for example. spoke to a capacity crowd as he emphasized reasons why the l'.S. was in Vietnam and what the LQS. was doing there at the time to obtain the objectives of securing free elections for the South Vietnamese. The world of entertainment posed an interesting contrast to the area of politics and international relations. The Serendipity Singers started the year with an eyening of quick-w'itted and light-hearted entertainment. Half A Sixpencefi a Broadway' musical. was also presented here. To round out the year. The Singing Hoosiers of Indiana Ifnixersity' presented a spectacular performance.
