resents directed by Jim Parsons a musical comedy by Guy Bolton, P. G. Wodehouse, Howard Lindsay, and Russell Crouse Anything Goes, the first musical produced by the College Union Entertainment Committee was presented January 19 and 20 in Hen- dricks Hall. The musical comedy concerns a young man named Billy Crocker who comes aboard ship to say bon voyage to his boss. On boarding he discovers that the girl he loves, Hope Harcourt, is sailing for England with her mother and her fiance, Sir Evelyn Oakleigh. Billy decides to make the trip. By borrowing an extra ticket from Rev. Dr. Moon who is actually Public Enemy No. 13 in disguise, Billy is able to sail. ln order to keep Sir Evelyn away from Hope, Billy asks Reno Sweeney, a Night Club Proprietess travelling with twenty-four chorus girls, to entertain him. Complications arise when Billy discovers that he is being pursued by the police because the ticket he used was originally meant for Snake Eyes Johnson, Public Enemy No. l, a friend of Rev. Dr. Moon. Both Moon and Billy are finally caught but, as al- ways, there is a happy ending for all. T, . ' The chorus wishes Bon Voyage in a song and dance routine. Reno . . Billy ..... Moonface . . Hope ....
