'the Christmas Ball . . . the glare of footlights and damp, trembling hands . . . Stop the World-I Want to Get Off. . . applause . . . the omnipotent silence of the hall after the crowds have gone . . . ribbonings for honorary fraternities . . . the Friday rush for THE STUDENT . . . The Cave Dwellers . . .language club try-outs . . . a winter night's Dolphin practice . . . striving for perfection, backed with a reason . . . the day before a deadline . . . satisfaction . . . perspiration . . . relief . . . a job well done.
