UMOC :rx fl fmryx ff'-rv Y: President Warren C. Lovinger crowns Sigma Kappa's Sharon I-lilgedick Beauty Queen. The men of Theta Chi set a national fraternity record by collecting 55,000.14 for the March of Dimes, and CMS placed second in national campus collections with S6,2'I2. For fourteen consecutive years the Theta Chi's have earned the UMOC crown by collecting more money for the March of Dimes than any other campus organization. S.G.A., through its officers and representa- tives elected by the student body, meets students' governmental problems and spon- sors programs cmd special events. This year S.G.A. planned Homecoming, brought the Serendipity Singers to the CMS campus, spon- sored the Rhetor Ball, and S.G.A. President Jerry Landreth appointed the members of the President's Council. The President's Council is a means of obtain- ing solutions to student problems that ordin- arily do not reach the President of the college. The functions of the Council are directed to- wards achieving greater understanding be- tween organizations and the administration.
