F. Knox. Through the study and organization of this department, instruction is not limited to the classrooms alone, but is available everywhere by either corre- spondence or extension Work. Practi- cally any of the regular courses of the college are available in various centers Within this district. Primarily, the extension and corre- spondence services of the college are intended to give students who can not come to college an opportunity to con- tinue their studies under competent instruction. So popular has this service become that hundreds of students an- nually take advantage of the opportu- nity it offers. THEl1BDADY Allied with the Work of the division of field service is the library service, directed by Dr. Willard O. Mishoff who was last year named the successor of the late Mr. Ward Edwards, for fifteen years head librarian. The librarian, with his corps of assist- ants, aids all departments of instruc- tion in maintaining adequate library facilities by making available to the faculty and students information con- cerning books, magazines, and other publications of interest to the individ- ual or to college groups.
