Physical Education To the Physical Education Department were raised such questions as, Should we have a football team? and Should physical education be a required course? Althoughfthe first question is unanswerable at the present, the second draws immediate replies from the staff. One look at the variety of courses offered the students shows why the physical educa- tion courses are important as well as enjoyable to an indi- vidual. Courses offered range from social dance to judo, and includeitennis, life-saving, bowling, and modern dance. The department also offers an inter-collegiate and intra-mural sports program. Education is seeking and questioning. ln Social Sciences, man in particular is questioned-his unique thinking pro- cesses, his social' attitudes, and his influence on the world about him. These and other anthropomorphic topics are con- sidered in such classes as Psychology, Geography, Ethics, Political Science, Anthropology, Sociology, and Education. John S.
