With a starting tive of Wills, Tyler, Zouhar, Hall, Moore, and a sixth man, Warren Blakely, the Clan averaged 69.5 points per game to their oppon- ents 70.5 per game in a schedule filled with many close games. La Verne was edged 69-65 in a double overtime. And again, like their football brethren, the Highlanders upset a highly regarded Cal Western team 67-65 in an over- time battle which sow the Clan six points behind with 21 seconds left to play in regulation time. Wills sparks clan cagers lndividually, Bob Wills was a busy man, breaking three records by scor- ing 32 points against Cal Tech, and averaging l6.5 points per game while amassing a 264 point total over the season. Back next year from the first six will be Moore, Wills, Hall and War- ren Blakely. Zouhar and Tyler, both seniors, will be missing in the Clan's lineup. Dave Tyler executes a two hand lay-up, adding two more points to the l-lighlander's total. As he did all season Bob Wills controls the tip for UCR as Don Moore waits for the ball.
