The aTTernoons quickly passed wiTh various chug- a-luggings and ball games always in evidence. Though when all was done, no one had enough oT a memory leTT To remember To bring The TooTballs back. ForTunaTely, however, someone had enough presence of mind To pile The saTuraTed sTiTFs in his car and de- posiT Them in TronT of Callaghan. IT was remarkable To noTice how, The more oiled DuTTy's vocal cords, The more unbounded his choral reperToire became, Though iT was all The more amaz- ing To noTe how iTs characTer changed The momenT of The arrival oT l.ieuT. and Mrs. LighT.
