This year fhe undergraduafes presenied ihe Annual Zip Oufsianding Alumnus Award +o fhe mosf worihy recipient Dr. John J. Cunaf. ln addiiion Dr. Cunai received a lifile surprise box for his efforis fo advance fhe profession of denfisiry. Brofher Herb Nerwin was chosen +o represeni' Mu Chapfer af +his bi-annual Na- 'iion Chapfer meefing, held af Memphis, Tenn. By pure chance fhe Coffon Queen of The Souih confesf was held a+ 'rhe same ho+el, buf ihis did noi' disfraci' brofher- Herb from faifhfully affending all fhe Naiional Chapfer meefings. Of fhe varied new regulafions, +he non-prejudice of membership clause and 'rhe new life insurance policies available 'ro Xi Psi Phi members were fhe mosi imporianl' amendmenis passed. . This year's officers of Xi Psi Phi have held flheir offices wifh honor and disfincfion in service fo +he fraferniiy. They were: Presidenf William Golicki, Vice Presiclenf James Foley, Treasurer Clark Brown, Secrefary David Hanson, Sergeanf a+ Arms Michael Miraglia, Edifor Thomas Kellner, Penfamones Pefer Doyle and Samuel Hannah, Social Chairmen Roberf Holgafe and David Jerome and House Manager Thomas Kellner. The officers were greafly aided by fhe guidance of our Depuiy Supreme Presidenf Dr. Carl Gugino. Graduafion means a loss of fhe lasf fine upsfanding members of fhe famous Zip House Crew of '6l. The are: Seniors Ralph Dayfon, James Foley, William Golicki, John Kowalczyk, Frank LaMuraglia, Roberf Laudico, Claude Lawler, Roger Millard, Michael Miraglia and Herb Nerwin. These seniors are probably fhe firsf and lasf of a dying breed, all bachelors upon graduafionl Alfhough losing 'ihe seniors we welcome quife happily fhe new pledges who we know will become oufsianding brofhers. They are: William Gray, Roberf Knoll, George Giacobbe, Julius Berger, Michael Anker, Edward Kerr, Paul Vifagliono, Joseph Flafo, Roberl' DeFranco, Mario Domenicanfonio, James Pellegrino, Michael Bedowsky, Roberf Nowak, William O'Connor, Gerald Peppy and Charles Clough. Their activities, aside trom contributing their teminine touches to all attairs sponsored by the Fraternity, include such events as an annual tea to welcome the wives ot each Freshman Class, 'Fashion shows, entertaining monthly programs and a year- end dinner party at which the newly-elected otficers are installed. The organization also edits an annual publication known as the Newsletter, which provides a briet his- tory ot the year's events to both the active membership and the alumnae as well. A real tirst came into being this year through the creation and establishment ot the Zipe'He Pin, a well- earned symbol tor an ever-earning group!
