Office Personnel CWHESE are the denizens of that never-never land where no stu- dent foot may tread. What is it you want, now? Pay your tuition? lnquire at the win- dow. Check your cuts? Ask the girl behind the window. A stencil cut? Do inquire at the window. You want to go in? Sorry. No students allowed in without permission. There is of course a very good reason for the out of bounds character of the office. It is the nerve center of the schoolg the point to which repairs everyone with a problem. And, that these problems maybe solved, its confines are kept inviolate from the confusion that is apt to prevail where three hundred congregate every day within limited bounds . There is the registrar, Miss Freer, better known as Betty g she straightens out the scheduling difficulties among numerous other problems, and keeps tab on who's who and why. Miss Bress, better lmown as Maryann , presides at the switchboard, and, you guessed it, the Window, she deals with the biggest problem of all, cuts, but her tasks in that regard are purely ministerial. And there is Miss Loftus, that is, Pat g her problem is the interminable typ- ing jobs, student and faculty alike . So this sanctuary is a humming place. The sign on the door belies the accomodation that lies within. MISS BETTY A. FREER Secretary Registrar Miss Maryann Bress lm , 14 Miss Patricia Loftus ti ex 1 1 1 r K5
