Text was used spairingly beca use it was felt by the 2002 Razorback staff that the faces and places would be most impacting if they stood alone. This book is one of pictures of one year of events and people connected to the University of Arkansas. Because it is a yearbook and a history book, we wanted it to be as truthful as possible. It is not broken up into sections, but shown in chronological order as events actually occured. During this year, we were the University. We changed it, and it changed us. We changed eachother. The hope for this book is that it shows those changes. Writers are biased, pictures are not. When text was used, it was done so in interview form facts coming straight from the one who experienced the event. The truest way to make a yearbook is to leave out the opinions of writers and show the year through a camera lense and in the order the photos were taken. Pictures can’t lie. This is what life was like. This is what we did. These are the places we went. This is who we were. These are the events and people that made the University during August 2001 to May 2002. The title and theme of this book is IH?. We wanted to allow people to open this book many years down the road and return to this time and place through memories. We captured everyday life and special events and published them together in this history book to show the year.
