The seasons went on, as did the students of the U of A. The first hint of spring came early in Fayetteville, and students rushed outdoors to enjoy the sun. Classes settled down as the second semester got under- way. Freshmen began feeling more at home at the university, and built long- lasting bonds between new found friends, and seniors be- gan ordering graduation announcements and caps and gowns for the big event in May. The basketball team entered the NCAA tourna- ment again, but were defeat- ed early. The men ' s indoor track team brought home the first national athletic title in UA history. The steps of the Mullins Library invite a student to sit down and enjoy the nice weather. Students begin architecture projects in Vol Walker. Mid-term exams seem to get the best of every- one.
