GOVERNMENT and POLITICS Francis Adams Cherry (LLB ’3 6), left, is a former governor; he is now a member of the Subversive Activities Control Board in Washington, D.C. On the state and national levels, as legislators and executives, men of maturity and good judgment are a necessity. University alumni have distinguished themselves in such a manner to make both their state and their country proud of them. They are to be complimented for their unselfish efforts.

Among the brilliant minds working in the natural sciences, industrial research, and the nation’s space program, there are found many whose leadership abil¬ ity has propelled them to positions of importance and responsibility.
