RAMOS Vice President of Fiseal Affairs and Comptroller It is a unique responsibility to the officers of Fiscal and Business Affairs to be placed in a position of account- ability for the effective fiscal management of Arkansas A. M. N. College. The Office of the Vice President of Fiscal Affairs and Comptroller is headed by Mr. Joseph A. Ramos. Mr. Ramos has served the college with diligence and concern during the time since he assumed the responsi- bility of the office. Recognizing that the institution is operated for the benefit of the educational program and not for the sake of the business management, there shall be times when the need to satisfy educational service must prevail over other predetermined priorities. The chief fiscal officer and the business manager shall be persons who have had comprehensive training in the major areas of business administration, with particular emphasis on accounting and business principles. It is expected that they have earned a college degree and possible graduate work or specialized study in a university school of business. While the MBA degree or a CPA certificate are not re- quired, it would seem highly desirable to have them. Sy : o Se apes boat ne Ra eta ond east i chase earth ote DME CED or Spa ea
