College is composed of seven members appointed by the Governor of Arkansas for terms of six years, on a staggered basis. Each member is eligible for reappointment. Members of the Board of Trustees serve without pay. During the year members arrive on campus from cities and towns located in the Congressional Districts of Arkan- sas. They spend long hours in their meetings and play an indispensable role in the growth and development of A. M. N. College. The Board is composed of prominent Arkansas leaders. They come from business, medicine, law, communications, education, and the church. At each meeting, the Board members must keep search- ing for answers to many complex problems, such as: Where are funds most needed? What new buildings must be constructed within the next year? How can we meet our housing problem with an ever increasing enrollment? How shall we strengthen the staff and enrich the curricula? These are some of the “big” questions that must be answered by the Board must apply formulas and solutions as they work to keep A. M. N. College in the main stream of educa- tion and see that it remains a growing society of world education. AM N College Board of Trustees planning for new buildings with Mr. J. M.
