There was a time when all an artist needed to express himselt was paint, a stick and a canvas. But modern tech- nology otters artists many new ways ot creating works ot art, and the Art Department program attempts to give students an appreciation ot the old as well as the new ways ot art expres- sions. Students are also given ample opportunities to express themselves artisicallly-through class projects un- der faculty supervision. .
