is W The Social Committee .SZWIQM oogerafion We mark our ballots Social life both on and off the campus is in the charge of the Social Com- mittee, of which Miss Inez Martin is chairman. The committee keeps the college social calendar and plans and directs entertainment throughout the college year. Highlights of the 1951-52 season were the freshman Welcome dance, the parents' reception, the HalloWe'en carnival, the Christmas formal, Stunt Night, the Donaghey luncheon, the all-school picnic, and the sophomore prom. Students co-operate throughout the year in civic projects in which Junior College is interested, such as the Blood Donor Drive, Christmas Seal Sale, the March of Dimes, and the Red Cross campaign. The Grill is the favorite place for us to meet, whether it be for breakfast or lunch, a coke or coffee, bridge or hearts, or just for a catch-up on the latest gossip. Sometimes we even study there. If We can hang around the North Building long enough, We will be sure to find just the person We Want to make a date with or some Phi Theta Kappa Whose answers We can borrow. And if it is really warm, the coke machine just a bit farther away makes an ideal place for the gathering of the gang.
