- Qgresiclezzf Speaks: HE aims of any institution depend upon the ideals and philosophy held by the individuals that compose it. The aims of Little Rock Junior College determine what sort of institution its faculty and student body will make it, depending upon the ideals and ideas held by the college community and the ends sought in reaching these ideals. Little Rock Junior College stands first of all for the highest ideals of true Americanism. How many of the faculty and students will reach the goal set, depends upon the whole-hearted support of its members. If one fails, the goal is thus so far short of what it ought to be. Each faculty member will do anything in his power to get all students of Little Rock Junior College to get the most out of the things held worthwhile and so make every student a better citizen. A better citizen today, as tomorrow, will take care of himself. Little Rock Junior College is ambitious in its aims, its ideals, its efforts, in order that all within its influence may be the best citizens possible. When any individual under its influence fails to live up to his highest ideals, the institution and its oiiicers are hurt and grieved that they have failed to hold high the Light that should guide the eyes of all its students to see aright and to hold before the minds of its students the highest ideals necessary to do the right. May all the students of Little Rock Junior College ever learn that America is made up of individuals-individuals who, when working together, will make this country the greatest on the earth, and who, when failing to cooperate, will make it less than its best. May all of us make our country the best place for its citizens to live by enriching ideals and by reaching out and up to attain those ideals. Only by everyone doing his very best may this goal be reached. Sincerely yours, J. A. LARSON.
