Miss Arkansas Regina Hopper was here both nights of the pageant. Below - K ym Michele Koch was crowned Miss Westark l984. PUT F 3' 'W 2 6 V A JW A 2 Miss Westark Cheryl Prewitt Black wood, Miss America l98Q entertained Friday night with gospel contemporary songs. Miss Oklahoma, Trelynda Kerr, was with us Thursday night. Left - Kim Herring, Miss Westark l983, sang and gave her farewell speech. A Tribute To Gersh win This year's pageant on April 5 and 6, '34 Tribute 1 Gershwin, was the largest ever with 24 girls froi ages I7 to 23 participating. On Thursday night, 86 people came to watch the girls show off in evenit gown and bathing suit. Friday night was talent nig where l2LX7 people viewed some of the best talent Westark. Judges for the pageant were Linda and David Bra from Benton, Clarine Smith from Hot Springsf .lea Whitely from Grove, Oklahoma, and Pam Herrima from Fayetteville. Sam Jones, anchor of the Cham 2 weekday news in Tulsa was MC for the pageant K ym receives a 5502 scholarship, an 58617 wardrot and two dinners to Trotline Restaurant. The first runner up receives a S350 scholarship, second rur up a S250 scholarship, third runner up a Sl5O scholarship, talent winner a SICX7 scholarship, and Miss Congeniality a SIQ7 scholarship. by Angie Ozelmas
