ZQ -m.'2 f if f , From Westark, Dr. Breedlove went to the University of Arkansas and received his Bachelor's Degree in 1955. Coach Breedlove came to Westark in 1960 and launched a successful basketball program. In 1961, he received his Master's Degree from the University of Arkansas. Dr. Breedlove was named president of Westark in 1968. Mr. Breedlove became a Doctor with a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Higher Education from Florida State University in 1972. Dr. Breedlove's immediate family included his wife, Norma, his sons Evan foldestj and Steveng and his daughter, Jean Ann. Dr. Breedlove was a man who would relentlessly pursue his goals yet one who could find the time for lighter moments. He lent an open ear to the problems of both faculty and students. It's hard to convey in words the feeling of loss the friends and family of Dr. Breedlove suffered at his passing, but, in the end, perhaps their loss wasn't as great as the loss of those who never had a chance to know Dr. Breedlove. 22 DR.
