Ever wake up on a Saturday or Sunday morning and not remember what happened the night before? If so, then chances are you were probably partying the night before. Party- one of the few words in a college student ' s vocabulary that functions as both a noun and a verb. It is the most common form of stress relief What ' s it all about? Where are they? Why are they? Usually, a party at the beginning of the year is to get together, meet new people, and get drunk. Later on in the year parties usually end up being a place where you go to avoid all the people you met at the start of the year, and get drunk. Well, that ' s not exactly all there is to it. Residence hall parties never involve alcohol but serve more to get new students to meet other new students who might not be all too familiar with what to do in their new college environment.
