The Vietnam war is only an example, a horrendous metaphor of our resistance to change. President Nixon has been able to convince us that war is the normal course of governmental affairs. October 13 ROBERT COLEMAN American Black Jew The more than 15,000 black adherents to the Jewish faith suf- fer by being ostracized by both blacks and whites alike . . . HUBERT LINDSEY HOLY HUBERT The young today live in a very difficult age. They obtain a degree and don ' t know what to do with it. They don ' t know how to deal with the world they live in. They are disgusted by the social and political ills. Back when I went to school a man could have a goal and work towards it. Today is the age of unfulfillment. September 13 Ole-time religion from a soapbox I used to think that making chil- dren well-adjusted, ready to play an active part in the world, and happy was enough. But there ' s no point in any of that if they are going to be incinerated in a nuclear war brought about by insane, inane national leaders. DR.
